I just made it through an extensive paper exposing the parasitism causing inflation in modern economies. It starts with an introduction to econophysics to assert that natural inflation is a violation of the Law of Conservation of Energy (there are some simple equations that's it's safe to skim past). The rest of the article uses the ecological metaphors of bionomics to argue that banks (up to and including the World Bank) are parasites on national productivity. It really is a lot to think about, and some of it does read a bit like a manifesto, but I urge you to at least check out the FAQ on pages 55 - 57.
