This is an interview with the author of a book that purports to deconstruct the War on Fat. Some of his ideas are convincing, although despite the linked-to sample chapter, personally I think the whole thing has more to do with economic predjudice than racism. Certainly, I have no doubt that scientific evidence that fitness causes health could be misconstrued by the chronically scientifically-illiterate press corps.
