InstaContent

The word on the street is that blogs are the new push, so this site was created to push links rather than jerry-rig some communication protocol to the task. It is updated sporadically as content is unearthed. I also like to experiment with leading-edge web standards, so please let me know if they are not degrading gracefully.
Revoking BC Home Rule7/18/2004 01:31:00 p.m.

This Globe&Mail article is laden with goofy randomness, but a merger of Alberta and BC is not the craziest idea I've ever heard. The combined entity would, within a few years (due to a higher growth rate than Quebec), be the second largest province in Canada, which should earn it more sway in Ottawa than the current self-appointed representatives of The West (better known as the Bloc Alberta) deserve. And if that didn't solve Western alienation, the union would be able to give a much better go at sovereignty than Alberta alone. Although center-leaning British Columbians aren't fond of being even rhetorically thrown in with Albertans now, this arrangement would stop the cycle of scandle-ridden, incompetant BC governments and make things generally more entertaining.
