Turns out that my young, geeky friends who are getting into poker are part of a major fad. The article neglects to mention whether young women are also into it, which would certainly increase my desire to jump on the bandwagon. :) Mind you, considering the lack of commercial tie-ins so far, it seems like a pretty harmless trend, provided you aren't doing it online.
