There's currently a mild debate going on in Ontario (and New Brunswick, I guess) about the value of nuclear power. Fortunately, the debate seems to be mostly in terms of economics rather than categorical anti-nuclearism (although that means that Tory mismanagement clouds the statistics). Somebody on Slashdot, where nuclear power is frequently discussed on ideological terms, linked to this old interview with a Psychologist discussing mass nuclear phobia — of particular interest is the seventh question where he alledges that anti-nuclear activists have caused the economic inefficiency.
