I'm always a big fan of photoshoppery but the inside jokes and frat humour on Fark and Something Awful can get a bit tiring, so I was very pleased to discover Worth1000 which raises the bar with focused contests, rankings, and some kind of commerce angle. They also have photography and illustration contests, although of course the photoediting is the most entertaining. (PhotoshopContest has rankings but not all the other stuff, and the interface isn't as rich.)
