At the end of a Paul Graham article on cultural censorship, he links to the even more interesting text of a speech by Michael Chrichton criticizing environmental science. In general he asserts that climate change predictions are based on bad science and it's not really useful to worry about how things are going to be in a century. I'm tempted to agree with him, especially as — sitting in Ontario — global cooling seems like a much more pressing concern!
