In response to the EU's recent removal of their GMO ban (actual legislation), the Globe&Mail's Margaret Wente presents the underreported view: that GMOs are our best hope against world hunger. And as for the worry about Africa being unable to export to Europe, it doesn't really matter as long as France fights the Doha Trade Round, now does it?
