I wholeheartedly share Gen. Franks' surprise at the Iraqi military's use of suicide bombers. Such tactics are totally unprecedented in the history of war, especially in the Middle East. And as for inviting siege and targetting supply lines, clearly the Iraqi army has some very creative strategists. Personally, I'm just disappointed they didn't use suicide boats.
