Ryley told me about an essay by Roger Ebert about the Pledge of Allegiance debacle. Is it just the size, or is there something about Catholicism that encourages polite followers? (Woah, I just looked up polite and one of the definitions is having the characteristics of advanced culture: take that!) Now that I think about it, what shocked me most about Christians in Ontario wasn't that they existed, but that they were out of the closet.
