Paul Graham is one of my favourite technical essayists. He usually writes about his unorthodox ideas for software development and how he put his money where his mouth is to become a millionare. However his latest essay is a departure from his usual technical themes: he has developed a theory for why nerds get picked on in highschool. I agree with most of what he said although I'm not sure that escaping the prison made things work out all that much better for me.
