So it appears the standard coping mechanism for the disappointment that is The Matrix: Revolutions is to put forward alternative plots. I, for example, really wanted Agent Smith to win. One of the more extensive cases of this I've encountered is this Slashdot post, I'm particularly partial to its first correction.
